Terri Has Died

March 31, 2005 — 4 Comments

Terri Schiavo has died just a little while ago. I knew it would be soon, but it’s still amazing that this is somewhat over. But perhaps a movement for euthanasia has begun?
I also find it sad to hear that the Schindlers were denied access to the room as she died. Come on! That really is going to far. That’s one of the worst things Micheal Schiavo could have done and he did it. Hey, what did he have to lose?
We,as bloggers, really can’t explain what’s going on in our minds and hearts, but we can tell you that we’ve tried. And though it seems that we have all lost, that is truly not the case. This situation, I’m sure, has opened the eyes of many to the fact that America is heading down a path that may lead to legal suicide and murder. These people will now take action. It’s brought hope to others like Terri, who need our help to save their life.
God has a purpose and plan for everything, though we may not see it right away, or we may not see it at all. He will use Terri’s situation for good. I don’t know the spiritual condition of Terri, but I know God can use anyone to work out his plan. Our prayer is that Terri knew the Lord, but we just don’t know. It would be so awesome to get to heaven and meet someone that you had worked to try to save their life. But we just don’t know.
As we move on this week, we must let ourselves pray for life. For our country we must pray we’ll get back on the right track. We must pray that our judges will make the right decisions.
I had planned to write about the Church today, but that will be tomorrow. If you want to find out more about Terri, and perhaps read her story, look at some of these links below:
Wittenburg Gate has the full story from beginning to end (bloggers story).
World Net Daily has the history.

  1. I can’t belive this has happened either. Legal murder has begun. We need to pray for our country, pray that our country won’t completly lose all honor and sanity. I think this is the begining of the worst the country has ever seen. Pray, that is what we can do, just pray.

  2. Amen Logan! I think it’s kinda scary I mean look how our country was for God when the US became a nation and look at us now

  3. O man I’m really upset that she died. When I first heard what they where doing to her it made me so mad! I too pray that our nation turns around to God! I mean she was a living breathing purpose! ugg!
